Austral Resources (ASX : AR1) is located in Queensland Gulf country, and about to commence production of  LME Grade A copper cathode from its new Anthill mine with a JORC 2012 compliant Ore Reserve of 5.06Mt grading 0.94% Cu. The company intends to produce 10,000tpa of copper cathode for the next four years from mid 2022, has commenced an intensive exploration programme of its tenure and is reviewing development options for its sulphide copper resources. Austral listed on the ASX in November 2021. It owns the Lady Annie heap leach SXEW process plant, the Anthill copper oxide mine and 2,000 square kilometres of highly prospective exploration tenure in the heart of the Mt Isa District. Speaker: CEO, Steve Tambanis

Kaiser Reef Limited  (ASX : KAU)  is the biggest Australian listed gold company mining in Victoria. Kaiser operates the high-grade A1 gold mine at Woods Point and is exploring the historic Maldon goldfield near Bendigo, which has extensive existing infrastructure. Through the active work at Maldon (Historic production 2.1Moz at 28 g/t), Kaiser is hoping to bring a second gold mine into production. Kaiser was listed in January 2021 and, coupled with the associated gold processing plant, has transitioned from explorer to producer in less than a year.  Speaker: MD, Jonathan Downes
