The Melbourne Mining Club wishes to congratulate our co-patron Leigh Clifford AC on his elevation to Companion of the Order of Australia in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. Mr Clifford was elevated from Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for eminent service to business in the aviation, arts and education sectors, to the community through charitable support and scholarships, and for philanthropic contributions.

Mr Clifford, who is co-patron of the club with fellow distinguished mining leader Hugh Morgan AC, is pictured at the club's recent event with Minerals Council of Australia CEO Tania Constable PSM and EMR Capital executive chairman Owen Hegarty OAM.
