Minerals 260 (ASX:MI6) was trading around a $30M market cap before it transformed itself in early 2025 with the acquisition of the Bullabulling Gold Project near Coolgardie, WA, from Zijin Mining for $166M. Backed by a $220M equity raise to complete the deal, raising over 7 times its market capitalisation is now the record for an ASX company. Over 170,000m of drilling since has grown the resource from 2.3Moz to 6.2Moz, with the July 2026 PFS delivering a maiden 2.5Moz ore reserve and a pathway to 200,000oz of annual production commencing by end-2028. In February 2026, Franco-Nevada, the largest global royalty company, endorsed the project with a A$220M financing package (A$170M royalty plus A$50M equity for a 4.9% stake) for their largest investment ever in Australia. The market cap has re-rated from $30M to roughly A$1.5B, the company entered the ASX200 in June 2026 and has made MI6 one of the ASX's standout gold development stories.
Argent Minerals Limited (ASX ARD) is focused on creating shareholder wealth through the discovery, extraction and marketing of precious and base metals.
