The Melbourne Mining Club, founded in 2001, is a not-for-profit JV between the AusIMM and the Minerals Council of Australia. 

A volunteer-based Steering Committee organises six bi-monthly industry lunches that attract speakers from the world’s leading mining and mining services companies, and five popular Cutting Edge events for the small-and-medium cap companies. These events offer unparalleled networking and resource sector promotional activities.

MMC sponsors earth science education initiatives and supports university students to consider a career in the resources sector through our JV partners the MCA and AusIMM.
